DePoly is looking for a highly experienced Polymerization Specialist to lead, develop and scale our PET polymerization knowhow from inhouse to industrial level. The ultimate objective for this role is achieving product-market fit for DePoly’s recycled PET on a global scale. This position requires a deep understanding of the entire PET production cycle, from monomer quality to final polymer properties. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in process optimization, material handling, quality assessment and industrial sized PET-applications. 

YOUR Responsibilities

• Lead development of DePoly’s PET applications, ensure market fit and identify the right ecosystem of partners 

• Identify target markets for polymer products, understanding customer needs, and conducting market research

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the performance of monomers across the  range of polymers and applications. Working with the technology function, develop product improvements and processing recommendations

• Establish optimal PET formulations from DePoly monomers with key stakeholders and clients

• Guide products from concept to launch, breaking down complex problems into manageable steps for development

• Work cross functionally between R&D, quality control, production and business development to align polymerization processes with business goals
