Plant Operator

Your mission
Responsibilities you'll be handling:
  • Operating the plant equipment, controlling and ensuring the smooth running of the process, and troubleshooting any issues in DePoly facilities (Sion or Monthey)
  • Handling and processing of the large number of chemicals required for the running of the plant.
  • Close collaboration with Engineering and R&D teams in the development of new product tests and process optimization
  • Writing reports and documents for process performance.
  • Organizing shipment of goods with the shipment responsible
  • Organizing external and internal deliveries
  • Regular check and updates of the inventory
  • Take samples from plant operation and execute simple QC analysis
  • Execute minor mechanical maintenance intervention
  • Supervise external contractors while performing maintenance intervention
Your profile
We expect you to have these skills:
  • Chemical Operator/Technician holder of a Federal Certificate of Capacity of Chemical Operator or at least an equivalent level, earned through experience in a comparable environment.
  • Min 2 years of work experience in an industrial environment or a solid foundation in the technology sector.
  • Capable of independently running and operating various equipment and familiar with process control systems, a good foundation in chemistry and an understanding of polymers is a plus.
  • Well organized and motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment, and good communication skills in small and large teams.
  • Proactive and positive attitude. Adaptability, versatility and flexibility
  • Ability to work in a team (daytime or shifts schedule)
  • Good knowledge of French and intermediate level in English
  • Mastering Microsoft Office 365 (Excel and Word)
  • Mastering communication tools (Emails)
  • Familiar with the production chain (packaging, storage….)
  • Have a Swiss working permit or be eligible to work in Switzerland.
  • Knowledge of the Good Practices and Safety in chemical industries

Vos tâches
Responsabilités :
  • Faire fonctionner les équipements de l'usine, contrôler et assurer le bon déroulement du processus, et résoudre les problèmes éventuels dans les installations DePoly (Sion ou Monthey)
  • Manipuler et traiter les nombreux produits chimiques nécessaires au fonctionnement de l'usine.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes d'ingénierie et de R&D pour le développement de nouveaux tests de produits et l'optimisation des processus
  • Rédiger des rapports et des documents sur les performances des processus.
  • Organisation de l'expédition des marchandises avec le responsable des expéditions.
  • Organisation des livraisons externes et internes.
  • Vérification et mise à jour régulières de l'inventaire.
  • Prélèvement d'échantillons lors du fonctionnement de l'usine et réalisation d'analyses simples de contrôle qualité.
  • Réalisation d'interventions mineures de maintenance mécanique.
  • Supervision des sous-traitants externes lors des interventions de maintenance.
Votre profil
Compétences demandées :
  • Opérateur/technicien en chimie titulaire d'un certificat fédéral de capacité d'opérateur en chimie ou d'un niveau équivalent, acquis grâce à une expérience dans un environnement comparable.
  • Au moins 2 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans un environnement industriel ou une solide base dans le secteur technologique.
  • Capable de faire fonctionner et d'utiliser de manière autonome divers équipements et familiarisé avec les systèmes de contrôle des processus, une bonne base en chimie et une compréhension des polymères sont un plus.
  • Bien organisé et motivé, à l'aise pour travailler dans un environnement industriel au rythme soutenu, et doté de bonnes compétences en communication au sein de petites et grandes équipes.
  • Attitude proactive et positive. Adaptabilité, polyvalence et flexibilité
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe (horaires de jour ou travail en shifts)
  • Bonne connaissance du français et niveau intermédiaire en anglais
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Office 365 (Excel et Word)
  • Maîtrise des outils de communication (e-mails)
  • Familiarité avec la chaîne de production (emballage, stockage, etc.)
  • Posséder un permis de travail suisse ou être autorisé à travailler en Suisse.
  • Connaissance des bonnes pratiques et de la sécurité dans l'industrie chimique
